Twitter delivers the real time web to it's 105,779,710 members. By leveraging it's expansive reach we hope to deliver real results to an organization that one of Breaking Development's founders has been involved with for 10 years. For each person who follows @breakingdevelopmnt on Twitter in November 2010, we will make a one dollar ($1) contribution to the National MS Society, @mssociety.
Multiple sclerosis stops people from moving. It deteriorates the central nervous system interrupting the flow of information between the brain and body. MS affects more than 400,000 people in the U.S. and over 2.1 million worldwide.
Alan Mabry's father, Dr. Michael E. Mabry, M.D., is afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis. He has watched his father, a neurologist who helped people with neurological illnesses such as MS decline in health and ultimately have to retire due to the disease's debilitating effects.
Today there is still no cure, only hypotheses on how one develops multiple sclerosis. Research is constantly advancing, however we need your help. Follow us on Twitter and JOIN THE MOVEMENT. For each person who follows @breakingdevelopmnt on Twitter in November 2010, we will make a one dollar ($1) contribution to the National MS Society, @mssociety.
